How the conversion works
One US fluid ounce equals 29.5735295625 mL. Divide mL by 29.5735295625 to find US fl oz. Multiply US fl oz by 29.5735295625 to find mL.
This uses US fluid ounces. UK (Imperial) fluid ounces use a different conversion. A fluid ounce measures volume; an ounce of weight measures mass.
The factor follows the US gallon and international inch definitions in NIST Handbook 44, Appendix C (2026). Rounding is applied only to the displayed result.
