Using Smart Cards in BabyZone
Smart Cards bring reminders and suggestions into your baby's Today screen. They use the activities you have recorded, your baby's age, and any medication schedules you have added.
What you can see
Cards may cover feeding intervals, sleep, diaper changes, bathing, measurements, medications, and milestones. Which cards appear depends on the information in your baby's record.
An upcoming medication card shows the scheduled dose. An overdue card stays visible until the dose is recorded as taken or skipped. Feeding and sleep suggestions use recent logs to help you keep track of the day.
Cards put more urgent items before routine suggestions. You can open a card for more detail, use its action to record an activity, or dismiss a suggestion when that option is available.
Keep the record current
Log an activity when it happens, including the time. If another caregiver records a feed or dose, family sharing keeps it in the same record. Check that the app has synced when you are coordinating care across devices.
Missing or incorrect entries affect what the cards show. A card reflects the record in BabyZone; it cannot tell whether an unlogged activity happened.
Smart Cards and regular reminders
Smart Cards and their alerts are part of Premium. The free plan still includes feeding, sleep, and diaper reminders, alongside those three activity logs for one baby.
You can manage reminder settings in the app. Notifications also depend on your device's notification permissions.
Getting started
- Add your baby and record feeds, sleep, and diaper changes.
- With Premium, review the Smart Cards on Today.
- Add medication schedules if you want dose reminders.
- Review the reminder settings and notification permissions on your device.
For current subscription options, see the BabyZone pricing page or the subscription screen in the app.
Smart Cards help organize the information you enter. They do not diagnose a condition, choose a dose, or replace advice from your child's clinician.
